To create and trade meme tokens using FuelUp, you first need to connect your wallet. Connecting your wallet is the first step to using FuelUp and accessing the Fuel blockchain.
Navigate to to start creating, buying, and selling meme tokens.
Locate and click the 'Connect Wallet' button, it is located at the top right corner of the page.
A popup will appear, asking you to select your preferred wallet. Choose from supported options like Fuel Wallet, Fuelet Wallet, or other native wallets like Ethereum Wallets and Solana Wallets.
Depending on the wallet type selected, you will be guided through the connection process. Follow the specific instructions provided by the wallet to connect to the web application.
After authorizing the connection, You will see your wallet address displayed in the top right corner.
Once connected, you're ready to start creating, buying, and selling meme tokens directly from the FuelUp application.
FuelUp operates on the Fuel blockchain mainnet, which requires real ETH to perform transactions such as deploying tokens or interacting with the blockchain. Before proceeding, ensure your wallet is funded with sufficient ETH.
You can get ETH through cryptocurrency exchanges or by transferring it from another wallet. You can also get ETH using where you can get ETH tokens in exchange for many other cryptocurrencies listed there. This option will also pop up when you connect your wallet and you don't have sufficient ETH tokens to use FuelUp. You can click the "Bridge Now" button and it will automatically redirect you to the .
When funding your wallet, double-check the recipient address to avoid errors, as blockchain transactions are irreversible. The ETH in your wallet will be used to pay for gas fees, which are necessary to execute transactions on the blockchain. The amount of gas fees varies based on network congestion and transaction complexity, so keep a buffer in your wallet to ensure smooth processing.
Once you have connected your wallet and funded the connected wallet, you are ready to dive deep into the world of meme tokens. You can now create your own meme token, or you can buy other meme tokens already created on the FuelUp.
